Day Hike - Mima Falls

Destination change due to snow levels. Was originally planned for Lower Lena Lake. Now Mima Falls.

  • Easy
  • Moderate
  • Mileage: 6.5 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 400 ft
  • Pace: 2.0 mph

Meet at Haggen's in West Olympia at 8:30 AM if interested in carpooling. Otherwise, meet at the trailhead at 9:00 AM.

This is a dog friendly hike, so we will go at a comfortable pace for our four-legged companions. If you're bringing a dog, please let the leader know. I'll have my blue heeler Sazi with me - she's very sweet, and gets along well with other dogs (and people).  She packs her own poop out in her green hiking pack!

I hike in a knee brace, and go at a truly moderate pace - roughly 2 mph uphill.

The trail can be muddy, so you may want to have gaiters or a change of shoes in your car.
