Meet at 10 AM in the parking lot of the Farm Boy Drive-in, 3840 Maytown Rd SW, Olympia, WA. 98572.  It is reached by taking Exit 95 (south of Olympia) from I-5 and finding the Farm Boy on the right side of the road at the end of the exit.

There is a portapotty in the parking lot of the Farm Boy Drive-in.  If you arrive early, you can order food to go at a drive-up window.  There are picnic tables  in a landscaped area adjoining the parking lot.

We will caravan from the Farm Boy to the main trailhead for Mima Falls, involving heading west on the Maytown Road through the small town of Littlerock, continuing straight onto 128th Ave SW, turning LEFT at the T junction onto Mima Falls Road SW, right onto Bordeaux Road SW, right again onto Marksman Road and left at the Y into the Mima Falls Trailhead parking lot.  Keep to the right at the fork inside  the parking lot to reach the upper lot where the trailhead is located.  A Discover Pass must be displayed by each car parked there.  A pass can be purchased at a kiosk there, if you do not already have one.  There are restrooms at the trailhead, but not elsewhere on the hiking route.  There will be the opportunity for bathroom breaks in the woods during our lunch stop.

The 2.3 mile trail to Mima Falls is most level, with one switchbacked dip to cross a shallow canyon.  The trail is wide and in good condition, except that there could be a few small muddy places, depending on recent weather.  We'll have our lunch at a picnic table near the falls and return by the same route.

After the hike is over there will be the option for a brief stop at nearby Mima Mounds to see the flowers and historical displays there.  A Discover Pass must also be displayed by each car there.  There are two restrooms there.

This hike is meeting  late enough and ending early enough to allow you to miss  the commuter traffic at Lewis-McChord.
