Weekend Waterfalls is a series of day hikes where we will look at some of the unique geology that makes up the waterfall itself and on occasion the area we are visiting.  These hikes will increase  in distance between January and April making this a great option to maintain or increase your conditioning during the cooler months of the year and learn a bit about the area we live in.

Pace will be moderate with opportunities to stop for questions and discuss our surroundings.  I am not a fast hiker so if you prefer a quicker pace, you may be happier on another trip.  Experienced and prospective student backpackers encouraged to join, however, all levels of day hikers and backpackers are welcome.

This will be my first trip to Mima Falls so pack your sense of adventure and let's get to exploring Capital State Forest.  Discover Pass required for drivers.
