NOTE LOCATION CHANGE: Due to current trail conditions at Miller Peninsula, the hike location has changed to Indian Island County Park and Fort Flagler State Park (Marrowstone Is) - with 5-9 miles coastal and forest hiking, and up to 200' gain. . Enjoy leisurely hiking along coast and through forests, with opportunities to view forest plants, birds (seabirds, shorebirds, waterfowl, passerines), mammals (seals, deer), and expansive views of Olympics, Cascades and islands. Hike descriptions for the alternate hikes are found in Day Hking Olympic Peninsula (#73 Fort Flagler & #74 South Indian Island) or Footsore 3 (pg 211 - Indian Island-Marrowstone Island-Fort Flagler State Park). A hike to Miller Peninsula will be offered late winter or early spring.
