Teanaway foliage should be ablaze in October, so bring your cameras and plan on stopping frequently to enjoy the season. Winter is hiding in the air, so bring adequate layers to accommodate the range of weather conditions the mountains can present. NO COTTON! Refer also to Day Hiking Snoqualmie Region by Dan A. Nelson.
