Easy – Snoqualmie Lake Trail via Taylor River, to Otter Falls and Lipsy Lake. Join us and hike the Taylor River trail past old growth forest to Otter Falls and see the 500 foot waterfall plunging into the little gem of Lipsy Lake. This time of year the tributary creeks are the stars of the show as the creeks are flushing winter down to the sea. (Planning on Turn-around at Lipsy Lake; not going to Snoqualmie Lake). 8 ½ miles round trip. Elevation gain 650 feet. Maps: GT 174 (Mt.Si) and 175 (Skykomish) Steady pace.
