7:00 AM at Tibbetts Lot, 1675 Newport Way NW
Join me on Earth Day for an Easy / Moderate hike up the Middle Fork of the Snoqualmie River. Reference: Day Hiking Snoqualmie Region. Green Trails 174 Mt. Si, and Green Trails 175 Skykomish We will meet and carpool at Tibbets in Issaquah. The road up the middle fork is notoriously bad - so drivers should have vehicles with good road clearance. Northwest Forest Service Pass required. The guide book lists this as a 6 mile round trip. If possible I plan to go farther up the valley making this an 8 to 12 mile round trip. Hiking level is border Easy/Moderate. View the Topo route and elevation profile at my blog (AlpineRover - Middle Fork Snoqualmie)
