If you sign up for this hike, be prepared for a 12.5 to 13 mile hike. If the Katwalk is snow free we plan to continue on to Ridge and/or Gravel lakes. Co-leader Mary Aulet. Update on 7/02/2009: There is a good possibly we will not be able to get to Kendall Katwalk due to snow/ice. See the following trip report: http://www.wta.org/go-hiking/trip-reports/trip_report.2009-06-30.6645566693 We will continue to monitor the situation. Our alternative destination will be Melakwa Lake, possibly continuing on to Melakwa Pass, depending on snow conditions. We plan to make a decision July 8-9 on the destination.
