Day Hike - Melakwa Lake
Like the hiking book says, this is the crown jewel of Snoqualmie Pass, one of my favorite hikes, one of the best along I-90. We are not only treated to a nice lake, but we also have the option of visiting a much less visited smaller lake just a few hundred yards away. Maybe a swim too!

We will meet in the Issaquah area and leave there by 7:30. The meeting location will be coordinated with the registered hikers the week before the trip.
All that I ask is for hikers to be confident that they can keep up and enjoy themselves at the pace I have indicated. I do ask the group to stay together, so a slower hiker will slow us all. The trail is rocky.
