NW FOREST PASS REQUIRED. This is a classic Snoqualmie Pass route with many scenic features: a big waterfall and 3 smaller ones, two alpine lakes, a water-slide, big tree old growth forest, and majestic craggy peaks all around. Part of the trail is steep, part is very rocky. Good boots and a good attitude make the climb very enjoyable ! SNOW ON THE TRAIL may stop us short of the Lake. This is not a winter scramble. A little snow is OK, a lot of snow may cause a destination change. Stay tuned.
