  • High Point Elevation: 2,100 ft

The group will meet at 8:30 a.m. at the May Valley Trailhead which you access from the Southeast May Valley Road.  There is plenty of parking, a restroom as well as picnic tables.

This will be a 2.5 mph conditioning hike and return at 2.5 mph to 3 mph.  This is a shorter option to the Margaret's Way hike to Debbie's View.  The ascent is gradual with one steeper part.  It is a beautiful trail in the woods and many streams along the way.  We will likely still have some snow as we go higher up.

This is a hike for those who have recently participated in similar hikes and who want to continue to condition; bringing extra weight in the pack is also an option.  This is not a beginner hike.

There may still be some snow and ice as well as water on the trail; spikes/trekking poles, gaiters and appropriate shoes are recommended.

This hike should return us back to the trailhead around 11:30 a.m.
