Meet at 10:30 AM in the west parking lot of the McDonald's Restaurant at 1705 NE 44th St, Renton, reached by taking the NE 44th St exit eastbound from I-405 and turning right into the McDonald's parking lot.
From McDonald's we will caravan up the hill to the trailhead on SE 93rd St. There is only street parking there, so carpooling will be helpful. No parking pass is required there. We will be hiking mostly under a forest canopy. There are restrooms at McDonald's and possibly at Lake Boren, but not elsewhere on the hike. The forest canopy provides opportunities for bathroom breaks along the trail.
