9:30AM at Quilcene Ranger Station, Quilcene
This is one of the great Olympic hikes in the Buckhorn Wilderness; thru old growth trees along the Quilcene River, then we'll climb up out of the trees to the view trail with snow capped peaks to the south and sheer rock faces on the north. We'll probably encounter snow in the higher elevations near the pass. We'll stop for dinner in Quilcene after the trip. 10.5 miles and 3500 feet gain.
