We will take advantage of the lack of snow and head over to the Olympics to hike through old growth forest along the Quilcene River to Marmot Pass where we will (hopefully) have outstanding views. This is a hike that is not going to be easy but is one hike you will be glad you did (go here to see what the WTA has to say about this hike: This will be a long day but worth it. We will stop at Dave's 4Star BBQ in Port Gamble on the way home. Cost for the day is ~$15 for the ferry plus gas (~$10). Early meeting is to catch an early ferry so we can have a full day.
