This trail can be deceiving.  It starts going up from the  TH and seemingly continues. Despite a few gullies, there are more gains than losses, both ways!  If this is your first hike of the almost-spring season, it may be a challenge.

9-9:30 AM meet-up, move to TH, organize, and go.

9:30-noonish hike at 2.0 mph pace.   3.0 miles in 90 mins plus one hour for 1.500 elevation gain and time for stepping off trail for COVID protocol, breaks, and large group travel times.

Summit photos and lunch.

2 Hours back to TH. Time for granting way to uphill hikers and runners plus sections are steep going down.  Suggest trekking poles for those who are comfortable using them.

Conservative time.  If done early, consider giving yourself "me time" to visit local restaurants, coffee shops, outdoor recreation retailers, of your choosing to help stimulate the economy! :)

All participants must have with them at all times, hand sanitizer and a face covering (bandana, neck gaiter, mask) which can cover mouth and nose when we pass close to others.  Be prepared to step off the trail or turn outwards when passing other hikers and to maintain social distancing. For everyone's safety, carpooling is limited to household members.

LNT - we will leave this high-traffic trail cleaner than we found it.

All risks are shared risks, Tom Unger.
