Meet at 10 AM at the parking lot on the east side of SR 900 (the Renton-Issaquah Highway) signed SQUAK-COUGAR CORRIDOR. It is a former private camping club and is a short distance south of the Jim Whitaker Wilderness Creek trailhead and on the opposite side of the road.
This is an opportunity to experience both the new Margaret's Way trail and the most spectacular view from Squak Mountain at Debbie's View, where we have lunch. On a clear day we will have a panoramic view including Mt. Rainier at our lunch spot. There is a portapotty at the trailhead parking lot. No parking pass is required. Free maps are usually available at the trailhead.
