Trailhead, 8 AM.

A hike in the woods close to home. This trip is intended as a winter conditioning hike.  We will start at the Margaret’s Way trail head and continue to Central Peak and West Peak and return on the Chybinski Loop trail. We will hike at a moderate pace of about 2 to 2.5 mph. I have been asked if I can shorten this to 10 - 12 mi. This will be easy to do. I can offer the full 15 - 16 mi. version later. We will see what the group is up for this time.

This trail is close to town, but still is a wilderness experience. Please be prepared with appropriate gear and dressed for a winter outing in the woods (snow is possible in Novemeber). Everyone should carry traction devices (Yaktraks, MICROspikes, etc.) in case of ice.
