8:00 AM at Wetland's Parking Lot. See Leader Notes.
Meet at 8:00 AM in the wetlands parking lot. Enter park at NE 65th and Sandpoint Way. Wetlands lot is on the left after you enter the park and pass the ball fields. See link to map: http://www.seattle.gov/parks/Magnuson/maps.htm We will bird the new wetland ponds for ducks, then walk paths in search of sparrows, kinglets, chickadees, warblers, wrens and other birds. We will check the lake for ducks, grebes, mergansers, and gulls, then return through the wetlands to the cars. Bring binoculars, a field guide, and clothing and footwear appropriate for the day's weather. Trails may be wet and muddy. We will finish by noon.
