8 a.m. at Ashway P & R, I-5 Exit 183
Feb 19, Thu. – Lummi Island Loop, (M) (map to be provided), 10-11 mi., 500’gain. Moderate pace. Ride the ferry over a narrow channel from Gooseberry Point to Lummi Island and then hike clockwise, mostly along the shoreline road, with views that span coastal islands and mountains into Canada. We’ll also visit a nature preserve near Sunrise Cove. Stop for lunch on the beach and then return to the mainland by ferry. Small ferry fee.
