8:00 AM at Lookout Point Trailhead Parking
Elevation gain: 1600 feet in, 800 feet out. Distance: 12 miles RT. This hike passes three other lakes enroute to Lower Tuscohatchie Lake, which is warmer than most mountain lakes, and therefore invites swimming during the summer. Northwest Forest Pass or NPS Senior Pass is required to park at the trailhead.
