Day Hike - Lower South Fork Skokomish River

Join the Tacoma Singles Committee for this wonderful hike along the Lower South Fork of the Skokomish River! We'll enjoy some nice views of the river and magnificent old growth trees on this quiet, pleasant trail. Singles are encouraged to participate in this hike, but all are welcome!

Meet at the Haggen supermarket on Cooper Point Rd SW in Olympia at 8:30 a.m. to carpool to the trailhead. We'll leave Haggen at 8:45. The second meeting place option is at the trailhead at 9:45 a.m. There are restrooms at both Haggen and the trailhead. 

A Northwest Forest Pass or America The Beautiful Pass is required. 

There may be several water crossings so gaiters and trekking poles are recommended. There also may be several downed trees across the trail that we will have to climb over or duck under.
