Meet at 7:45 at the former site of Oly Navy store on Cooper Point Road. The drive enterance is directly across from the enterance to Haggen Foods. Meet in parking lot closest to Cooper Point Rd.
The Skokomish River trails in the Olympic National Forest travel through some beautiful old-growth forest; are generally moderate to easy hiking trail as they follow the river and are close enough to Olympia to offer quality hiking year round. This hike will be adjusted in length from 7 miles up to 10 miles depending on the participants’ interest and the trail conditions. Heavy rains may require selection of an alternative destination as the Skokomish River floods occasionally during extended periods of rain.
