Lower Lena Lake is a beautiful hike, and a great early-season one for the Olympics - but it does take about 2.5 hours to get over there from Seattle. I'll keep a moderate pace; about 2mph+, depending on elevation gain. If people sign up from outside the city and want to meet at the trailhead instead of the Park and Ride, send me a note. We should be at the trailhead at 10am. Here are the mountaineer guidelines for carpooling. A NW forest pass is required for cars at the trailhead. Here is the WTA link.
