This hike has had some very nice trip reports recently on the WTA.org web site, so I thought it would be nice to lead it.. The views are reported to be great! Since I have not done this hike before, it may be the first time for most of us. However, it looks to be a very straight forward and fun hike to do. It is rated as a very strenuous hike, but we will go at a pace comfortable for everyone. The hike is partly in the Glacier Peak Wilderness, and it looks like we may have a promising weather report for the weekend also. To get to the Eastmont P&R; from I-5 northbound: Take the far right portion of exit 189, which is for Broadway/Everett Mall Way. When you get to the bottom of that off-ramp be in the center lane. Then proceed straight ahead and across HWY 527 and onto El Capitan Way. Proceed on El Capitan Way to first light and make a right into the P&R.; C&H;: 253 797-4895.
