8:30 AM at Preston P&R

Hike to Littler Kachess (Peak 4884) (MS) (GT Kachess Lake) 7 mi., 2800’ gain. This hike will be co-led by Ralph Owen. We will hike up the south end of the Kachess Ridge via the Silver Creek Trail and steep ridge route to the Kachess Beacon Tower. From there we will take a well established boot route to a higher viewpoint on Kachess Ridge. Return down the Beacon Ridge Trail. We will meet at 8:30 am at the Preston Park & Ride (Exit 22 on I-90). From there is will be a 95 miles round trip drive to the trailhead.
