Day Hike - Little Si & Boulder Garden Loop
**Trip initially open to Lookouts and High Places Day Hiking Series students. Trip will open for registration to all Mountaineers 7 to 10 days prior to the hike date.** A short, steep trail next to big brother Mount Si in North Bend. We'll ascend through forest to a rocky knoll with excellent viewpoints and enjoy a loop through the Boulder Garden along the way.

Since this is a weekday hike please allow extra time to arrive since there may be heavy work traffic. The Freeways will be busier than on the weekend.
We will do the Boulder Garden Loop on the way up to the peak, then stop at the peak for our lunch break before starting our descent.
The route has quite a bit of elevation gain, so hiking poles are useful. Also, this is not a dog-friendly hike, so please do not bring your dog with you.
Although we will stop at the top for our lunch break and hopefully enjoy some great views, this is not a nature walk or a bird watching hike, and thus we will attempt to maintain a pace of around 2.0 mph so that participants get a bit of a workout.
Please plan to arrive by 930 AM so that you have time to use the restroom and get your boots on. We will meet at 9:45 AM at the signboard near the vault toilet at the trailhead geared up and ready to hike for brief introductions and our pre-hike meeting. A Discover Pass is required.
