We will hike little Si at a easy/moderate pace and stop for a lunch/brunch break at the top.

South Bellevue park and ride at 7:30 am to make sure we can get an early start on the trail before the crowds arrive. I will park on the north end. I have a dark blue Honda Civic and I'll leave my trunk open while I am waiting to help people find me. 

This is my first hike as a leader and my friend Joe will be mentoring me. We will hike at a an easy/moderate pace with breaks and will not leave anyone behind. Little Si's steepest sections are right at the beginning and at the end. We will have significant elevation gain in these two steep sections, but the rest of the trail is more  relaxed. Bring a lunch to eat at the top. The trail is about 5 miles and we will stay on the trail for the duration of the hike and will not do any scrambling or joining with Mount Si on this trip.
