Going to both Little Bandera and Mason Lake.  The trip is weather and snow condition dependent.  A few rain or snow showers are fine, but all day rain or snow will  result is a cancel or trip substitution.  Since this is a day hike, not a snowshoe, some snow is okay, but deep snow may require a substitute trip as well.  Due to likely wintery conditions this trip is Leader's Permission Required.  Please answer the following three questions in your inquiry.

1) I have completed a trip of  comparable elevation gain this past season (3000 gain').

2) I am comfortable hiking in snow and with possibly route finding.

3) I have and will bring microspikes, two-trekking poles, gaiters, warm hat, gloves and other winter clothing.
