Meet 10:00 am at the trailhead just outside of Granite Falls.
The trail follows part of the bed of the long vanished Everett and Monte Cristo Railroad. It goes above the Stilaguamish River in a forest, which has mostly reclaimed everything to an actual lime kiln. Late season exercise, but getting home at a decent hour
