My goals for this trip are:
1. Be safe.
2. Make it to Heart Lake
3. Explore a trail new to me.
My expectations for participants are:
1. Practice Leave No Trace principles
2. Have the physical conditioning necessary for this trip. The elevation gain is on the modest side but the mileage is on the longer side.
3. Participants should be comfortable navigating a trail on open, steep hillsides.
0800 at the trailhead. Trailhead is outside of Packwood on FS 4800
