  • Mileage: 8.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 1,300 ft
  • High Point Elevation: 1,600 ft

  • To register, your Mntnrs activities list must show that you hiked summer-fall 2024.  You will be removed from the roster if you do not meet this requirement.
  • This is not a beginner hike series. The expectation is that you are a seasoned hiker in adequate condition; except, like me, you haven’t done much hiking since 2024 summer/fall. This is your opportunity to organize your morning, your hiking gear and practice getting your prepared-self to the trailhead. Hikes in this series are 3-8 miles and 600’-2100’ elevation gain with a target 1.75-2mph moving pace. The distance and/or gain progresses with each hike.
  • Mini-conditioning is the goal of this series of eight Friday morning hikes in February & March.  "Mini" means this is only one part of your overall conditioning for readiness for 2025 hiking.
  • If you’re a lot slower or faster than the stated pace, these hikes are NOT for you.
