Drivers Needed. Sign up by 10am Friday if you are thinking of carpooling!!!! With loads of sunshine, join us to hike to one of the prettiest Alpine Lakes. A side trip to Bridal Veil Falls (truely awesome & up close views), adds a mile and a few hundred feet to the hike description. Water should be thundering down the rock face. Then go on to climb a few man made stairs (maybe more than a few), cross a long log bridge, & then up to lunch rock for???? Lunch of course. You will like this hike, plus with the rain we've had, the mushrooms should be poking out. Meet at the park n ride to consolidate our driving. NW Forest Parking Permit required per Carload. . Meet 7am sharp at the park n ride. Take I-5 to Ravenna Blvd. Park at North End of lot, under I-5 and across from a coffee stand. Look for blue chevy S-10 pickup. No fast hikers please. Slower Social Pace. Bring trekking poles if your knees don't like steps. A camera would be a great idea.
