Day Hike - Lake Janus and Grizzly Peak

This is a scenic hike to Lake Janus . We will not go to Grizzly . The route is up Smith Brook Trail into the Henry M. Jackson Wilderness, then to the Lake on the PCT .

We will meet at the Smith Brook trail head at 8:00 am  .On Hwy 2 , continue East from Stevens Pass , 3.9 miles , and just after the highway divides , turn left , (exercising caution crossing the westbound lanes ) onto Smith Brook Road ( Forest Road 67 )  . Follow  FR 67  for 2.7 miles to a large parking area on your left . I am providing carpooling for three hikers from my home.
