7:00am at South Everett Freeway Station Park and Ride
After a short hike through old growth timber to the 44 acre lake, we'll enjoy a relaxing lunch by the lake. Once finished, we’ll be back to the trailhead in time for everyone to get back to the park and ride to head home to enjoy the evening's festivities that celebrate our country's 233rd birthday. The South Everett Freeway Station park and ride is located in the I-5 median at 112th Street Southeast near Silver Lake in South Everett. We will further consolidate the carpools here. The reason for the early meeting time is due to the parking lot construction at the trailhead. The meeting time may be adjusted as further information is available. Please bring the 10 Essential System, no cotton clothing, and have appropriate footwear, i.e. no tennis shoes. A Northwest Forest Pass or National Forest Recreation Day Pass is required to park at the trailhead.
