This is a lovely old growth hike showing the transition from coastal to higher elevation conifers with associated understory plants and great spring wildflowers in bloom now. The trail is in good condition and climbs steadily ending at shore of alpine lake. Good hiking boots essential as the trail is rocky and muddy in places. Bring lunch.
