Trailhead at 0800.
Trailhead is the West Fork French Cabin creek trailhead, located on FS 4308-132. Directions will be provided.
We will start from the West Fork French Cabin creek trail to add more mileage. This trail gains the ridge, then climbs up past Hard Knox and Hard Cheese. There are several trail junctions before the left turn up to Thorp Mountain, which sports an old-fashioned lookout on top. We will return the same way.
