8:00 AM at Tibbett's P&R
Classic hike on the Pacific Crest Trail. The trail is very nicely graded and offers excellent views. Our final destination will be the Kendall Katwalk. This, as the name implies, is a narrow and exposed section of trail. The trail builders used explosives to blast the four foot wide trail into the side of a cliff. I feel perfectly safe on it, but if you have a fear of heights you might want to try a different hike instead. Tibbett's Lot: 1675 Newport Way NW, across the street from the Issaquah Transit Center garage.
