Meet at 9am, ready to hike at 9:15am
We'll meet at the Day Use Area by the river at Kanaskat-Palmer State Park. Take WA-Hwy 410 to Enumclaw. Turn LEFT (North) onto Farman Street N, continue on this road (it changes names a few times but is still the same road). You'll pass Nolte State Park (keep going, this isn't it), eventually the road turns into Cumberland Kanaskat Road (look for the brown state park signs along the way), where you'll turn LEFT into the Kanaskat-Plamer State Park entrance.

Get yourself out and on the trails during the offseason by joining the Tacoma Hiking and Backpacking Committee on a series of easy to moderate fall and winter hikes that are focused on beginners. Learn tips, tricks, and strategies from our experienced hike leaders that will help increase your confidence to get outside and enjoy yourself. Hikes are led at a slower pace that is perfect for beginning hikers. These trips will run from November through March. All of these hikes are Leader's Permission Required so that once you notify the leader of your interest ,we can send you a handout of what
you will need to be prepared for the hike itself!
