Kamikaze (Teneriffe) Falls

Day Hike - Kamikaze (Teneriffe) Falls

Happy Veteran's Day! Here's a mid-week opportunity to explore this trail and waterfall. It is a moderate hike that starts out gently but gets steep toward the end.

COVID-19: Learn about our most up-to-date guidance for participants and leaders on our COVID-19 Response page. All participants and leaders must agree to the COVID-19 Code of Conduct before participating in this Mountaineers activity.

  • Mileage: 6.5 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 1,300 ft
  • Pace: 2.0+

Meet at 7:45am, ready to hike at 8:00am, at the Teneriffe Falls trailhead.  A Discover Pass is required.  Please follow current Mountaineers' Covid-19 guidelines for carpooling.  Specific directions and more info will be emailed to all participants once registration closes.

This is a new area for me so let's go explore it together!  We'll hike as a group up to the falls, then stop for a snack.  Research indicates that the tread consists of loose rock in places, so sturdy shoes or boots are recommended as are trekking poles.  We will move at a steady pace so make sure this distance and elevation are a good fit for you.

Please review the Mountaineers Covid-19 Code of Conduct and be prepared with a face covering (mask, buff, or bandana) to pull up over your nose and mouth when passing  others on the trail.  Hand sanitizer is also required.
