A moderate 6.5 mile day hike with 1,300 feet of elevation gain to a beautiful waterfall near North Bend.

Meet at the Teneriffe falls trailhead at 8am

Carpooling is not recommended due to COVID restrictions at this time.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

From I-90, take exit 32 (436th Avenue SE). Turn left (north) over the freeway and drive 0.5 miles to SE North Bend Way. Turn left (west), and in 0.25 mile turn right (north) on SE Mount Si Road. In 2.9 miles (past the Little Si and Mount Si trailheads), you will reach a 70-car paved parking area on the left. A Discover Pass is required to park here. Restrooms are available at the trailhead but may not yet be open, so please plan ahead.


Due to Social Distancing still in effect, this trip is limited to 8 participants.  Everyone must be willing to maintain the 6 ft distancing, wear a cloth face covering when passing others, and carry hand sanitizer.

This is one of my favorite early season hikes, through old growth forest, some pretty flowers and plenty of switchbacks to get a bit of a workout in, culminating with a beautiful waterfall where we will stop to eat lunch at.
