We'll make this a loop by heading up the Falls trail then heading roughly west on the unmarked connector, south down the old road-turned trail and then east. PLEASE read leader's notes.

Meet at the new Teneriffe TH parking lot on Mt Si Road at 0900. We will start out by 0915.   Discover pass required. Vault toilet at TH.

Weather forecast is for sun, but quite cold.  Looks like there will be at least some snow left on the trail by Wed-- but I would not expect much.  Bring warm layers.  The cross over to the connector trail is a very short (maybe 6ft. wide) shallow ( a few inches) stream crossing that should be do-able on rocks but make sure you have either water proof boots and/or plastic bags and extra socks just in case.  After the crossing the trail is rather rough for a short distance and then improves.  You need to be comfortable with a couple of very short sections that might require you to use your hand or poles.   The trail up is an excellent new trail but parts are rocky (traverses talus field several times) so sturdy shoes are appropriate.
