Day Hike - Kamikaze (Teneriffe) Falls

A moderate 6.5 mile day hike with 1,300 feet of elevation gain to a beautiful waterfall in the Mount Si Natural Resources Conservation Area near North Bend.

Meet at the North Bend Public Parking lot (the S.E. corner of North Bend Way and E. McClellan St. -Across from North Bend Motel) for carpooling at 8:00am.

 Driving Directions:  From I-90, take exit 32 (436th Avenue SE). Turn left (north) over the freeway and drive 0.5 miles to SE North Bend Way. Turn left (west), and in 0.25 mile turn right (north) on SE Mt Si Road. In approximately 3.5 miles (past the Little Si and Mt Si trailheads), you will reach a small parking area on the left (directly across from 480th Ave). This is known as the school bus turnaround, and, if you are parking here on school days, park close to the gate. The trailhead is unsigned except for a notice that a Discover Pass is required to park here.

Moderate pace, 6.5 miles round trip.

Trail is rough in places so wear good supportive hiking boots.  12 essentials, layered non cotton clothing and sack lunch.
