Meet at 9 AM at the trailhead parking lot near the intersection of SW 188th St and 107th Ave SW on Vashon Island, which can be reached from either the North Vashon ferry dock or the Tallequah ferry dock at the south end of the Island.

This is a rare opportunity to combine a morning hike with an entertaining afternoon sheep dog herding contest in the afternoon.  The admission fee for the dog contest is $10 and must be paid in advance to assure admission.  The contest is at Misty Isle Farms, a short distance south of the hike location.
