This is a mostly easy hike along what was once the bed of the Great Northern Railroad. We go to the site of Wellington, and then back.

Meet 10:00 am at the Iron Goat interpretive site, which the red caboose is. This is just off US 2, west of Stevens Pass
Hike to the site of an avalanche . It hit a stalled train, and killed almost a hundred people. This was about a century ago.
