7:30 AM at Tibbett's P&R

I think this will be the last opportunity to be able to do this hike this season. Bandera is due to be enveloped in snow, but the weather forecast has spared us another weekend! This trail has a short stretch that can be difficult on the knees and hips. It has a section that involves a lot of "high-stepping", kind of like walking up a set of oversized stairs. Poles are never a bad idea on this one. Tibbett's P&R is on the corner of Newport and Renton-Issaquah Rd in Issaquah (1675 Newport Way NW), across the street from the Issaquah Transit Center garage. Look for the red vw.
