  • Moderate
  • Mileage: 6.5 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 2,550 ft

We will meet at the Ira Spring Trailhead at 8:30 for our hike to Mason Lake.  If anyone needs a carpool we can meet at Tibbett's Park & Ride in Issaquah at 8:00 am and continue on to the trailhead.  This trailhead requires a Northwest Forrest Pass.  Directions to Tibbetts Park & Ride will be included in the Welcome to the hike letter .

This will be done at a moderate pace with stops as needed for hydration and snacks.  This trail is 6.5 miles round trip with an elevation gain of 2420 ft. From the latest trip report the trail is snow free and the lake is also snow free.  We will have lunch at the lake and then come back down.  I believe we should be down somewhere around 1:30 or 2:00pm.  As always have your Ten Essentials and at least 2 litters of water with.  The weather is scheduled to be a mild 76 degrees at this time.
