6:30 AM at Tibetts Park n Ride
This is one of the hikes I look forward to each year. Typically this time of year, you see the yellow larches against the red foliage making for incredible pics, to say nothing of the lake itself, with peaks in the back ground. Meet at the Park n Ride to consolidate car pools for a drive to the East side of the Cascades. Ponderosa Pines and beauty different from the Wet side of the Cascades. NWF Parking Permit required per carload. Bring protective clothing as we are in the Fall, and are in the Mountains. Prepare for the worst, and hope for the best. At this writing, the weather is supposed to be good. Sign up for carpools to get you to the Park n Ride, and once there, we may squeeze a few more people in. http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/getaways/277944_hike20.html
