Get some early season backpack conditioning in with this evening hike to Hugo Peak. Priority to Tacoma Branch Intro to Backpacking students until April 26th, then open to everyone.

Parking area outside of Pack Forest gate on Hwy 7 at 4pm. No parking pass needed.

This trip is geared toward Intro to Backpacking students learning to carry a weighted pack to get ready for backpacking season. We will be hiking to the summit, then take a short side trip on a new trail with views of Eatonville and all the way to Mt. Baker on a clear day. Bring a sack dinner.
