Meet in south section of Eastmont Park & Ride (exit #189 off I-5 in south Everett) at 8:00 a.m. to form carpools. Contact leader for additional pick up in Monroe if needed.

The mountaineers no longer arranges carpools. It is up to participants to get to the pre-arranged meeting place where carpools to the trailhead will be formed. Please ensure you can find and arrive at the meeting place before joining the hike.

This is a steep, but mercifully short hike with views of Mt. Baring, Mr. Persis and Bridal Veil Falls.  The pace is planned to be moderate but we will adjust for the needs of the group.  The visit will include some "Lookout Stewardship" for those who are wiling and able to do about 90 minutes of scraping and painting on the catwalk.  We will be supervised by Forrest Clark from Everett Lookout and Trail Maintenance who will also provide us access to this very special lookout. Bring a hearty lunch and perhaps a kneeling pad and an old t-shirt for the work.  We will stop at Bubba's Roadhouse in Sultan, or a location of the group's choice, on the return for a mid afternoon meal.
