Heather Lake offers with views of Mount Pilchuck's craggy, rocky north face, and the lake's placid waters.  We will walk around the lake.  For your comfort and safety, please have all 10 Essentials, do not wear cotton clothing, and have appropriate footwear, i.e. no tennis shoes, trail runners, or FiveFingers®.  A Northwest Forest Pass or National Forest Recreation Day Pass is required to park at the trailhead. The pace for this hike will be ~2MPH.
